Dr. Kenneth W. Sanders has dedicated his medical training and his practice to this subspecialty. In fact, he spent seven years focusing on nothing but facial plastic surgery, completing a coveted fellowship in the field. He has studied with some of the leading physicians in the field and has participated in research studies such as the FDA trials to approve Botox® for cosmetic use. These give patients the ability to see the possibilities of facial plastic surgery and related procedures. A fully-equipped surgical suite is available on-site for selected procedures. OUR STAFF
		Melissa Kenney Melissa is probably the first person you will speak to or see when entering our facility. Her bright personality is sure to put you at ease immediately. She is a multitasker and a problem solver who is an integral part to our team.
		Cheran Burns, R.N. Cheran comes to Pierremont Facial Plastic Surgery after working in the stress-filled world of the labor and delivery unit. This experience gave her a special insight into the care and people at a very trying time--the birth of their child. She has developed this into a special ability of communicating with patients and reassuring them as they work through the decision for cosmetic surgery. Cheran has a special interest in laser therapies and skin care as well. With a great working knowledge of Facial Plastic Surgery she will likely be the first person to discuss this with you at a cosmetic consultation. She will work closely with you during the pre-operative visit to insure that routine post-operative care is well understood.
		Lynn Sanders, R.N. Lynn is our skin care and laser specialist. She has been a registered nurse since 1986 and had experience in both emergency nursing and the operating room before becoming part of Pierremont Facial Plastic Surgery. She has had extensive training as a Facial Plastic Surgery Assistant. Her certifications include Cutera laser training, Medical Microdermabrasion, and SkinMedica chemical peeling. She has attended national meetings for Facial Plastic Surgery—most recently in Las Vegas at the International Meeting of Facial Plastic Surgeons. If you see Lynn during your visit to our office, be sure to ask her about the latest laser and light based skin therapies available.
		Steve Procell, L.P.N. Steve is Dr. Sanders’ first assistant for surgery whether it is in our JCAHO certified surgical suite or at one of the area hospitals or surgery centers. Steve’s experience is broad as he was trained as a respiratory therapist before working toward his nursing licensure. He has managed the operating room at an area hospital including setting up all safety protocols for patient care. Steve loves being in the plastic surgical suite and his knowledge and background are great assets to Pierremont Facial Plastic Surgery.
